About the Editor
Kara Watson acquires literary and book club fiction, memoir, narrative and practical nonfiction, and cookbooks. Recent novels include the Read with Jenna pick A Family Matter by Claire Lynch, The Satisfaction Cafe by Kathy Wang, and the national bestseller Big Swiss by Jen Beagin. Rediscovered classics on Kara’s list include O Caledonia by Elspeth Barker, The Women in Black by Madeleine St John, and The Fortnight in September by RC Sherriff. Forthcoming projects include novels by Mary Beth Keane, Stephanie Danler, Helen Bain, Margaret Meyer, and Angela Tomaski; narrative nonfiction by Sanna Marin and Alan Garner; cookbooks by Aleksandra Crapanzano, Tamar Adler, and Harold McGee.
