Febe van der Wardt Director Luitingh Sijthoff (VBK)

I am the director of Luitingh-Sijthoff in Amsterdam. We publish a wide arrange of books: fiction (commercial and upmarket (but not literary), crime, fantasy, non-fiction and childrens books. Both translated and Dutch. Our fantastic editorial team select the submissions they want to publish. Together with our commercial manager, the editor and I, we decide what to publish and what not. That way everybody is on board and is the commitment for all the books we publish very high
