Rebecca Strobel Editor Gallery
About the Editor

Rebecca Strobel is an Editor at Gallery Books. She enjoys working with authors who are self-made people, who are driven, and who draw readers in to their world. Rebecca is looking for projects that spark conversation about things that excite us, or are difficult to talk about, and is particularly drawn to projects that deal with race, class, gender, and sexuality. She loves to work with writers who can bring a fresh perspective to a beloved topic. Rebecca is acquiring projects in the following categories: memoir, essay collection, humor, popular culture, music, and narrative-heavy food writing.
Before joining Gallery Books, she was at Penguin Random House’s Blue Rider Press/Plume imprints, and later, Simon & Schuster’s Touchstone imprint. Her recent titles include Eat Plants, B*tch! by Pinky Cole, Blood Orange Night by Melissa Bond, Well, This is Exhausting by Sophia Benoit, Carolina Built by Kianna Alexander, and The Woman Beyond the Attic by Andrew Neiderman.
