Kaitlin Olson acquires upmarket and commercial fiction at Atria. She publishes #1 New York Times bestselling authors Hannah Grace and Lisa Jewell, including their respective million-copy sellers Icebreaker and None of This Is True. She has also acquired and edited bestselling and acclaimed authors including Elena Armas, Janice Hallett, Alison Cochrun, Ashley Winstead, Anna Bailey, Laura Shepherd-Robinson, Megan Collins, Kayla Olson, and Nova Jacobs.

Her list focuses on suspense/mystery/crime, rom-coms, and historical fiction. She is looking for well-written suspense with commercial potential; breakout rom-coms with a heavy dose of humor; clever and original mysteries; voice-driven crime fiction; immersive, glamorous historical fiction; and anything that blends the above genres. She loves a fresh hook, unusual structures, and stylish writing. She graduated from Stanford with a degree in Comparative Literature and began her career at the Simon & Schuster imprint before joining Atria in 2019.
