About the Editor
Together with Senior Publisher Thille Dop I started the children’s and YA book list at Luitingh-Sijthoff in 2015. Since then, we have built a tasteful list with well-established authors and illustrators. Our international list includes f.e. Benji Davies, Steve Small, Meg Rosoff, Jenny Valentine, Ruta Sepetys, Katherine Rundell and Stephanie Garber. Examples of Dutch authors that are very succesful in both the Netherlands and abroad are Enne Koens, Wilma Geldof, Marlies Slegers, Lotte Stegeman, Marja Baseler, Annemarie van den Brink and Tjarko van der Pol. I studied Journalism and Politics, but discovered very soon that children’s and YA books are my biggest passion.
