About the Editor
Jennie Miller joined Simon & Schuster in 2023 after beginning her career as an editorial assistant at HarperCollins. Previously she interned at Liveright, Verto Literary, and Dystel, Goderich & Bourret. She acquires a range of nonfiction spanning memoir, history, popular science, humor, investigative journalism, biography, social science, cultural criticism, and literary nonfiction. She also acquires select literary fiction. She is looking for stories that sit at the intersection of enlightening and entertaining, are empathetic and uplifting, and speak to the anxieties and hopes of younger generations.
Jennie is the editor of the New York Times bestseller Super Agers by Dr. Eric Topol and the forthcoming titles The Origin of Language by evolutionary biologist Madeleine Beekman and Escape from Capitalism by economist Clara Mattei.
She graduated from Georgetown University, where she earned a BA in American studies and minored in Spanish.
