Renate Liesker Senior Editor Ambo Anthos (VBK)

Renate Liesker joined the team at Ambo|Anthos in 2011, first as editor joining Tanja Hendriks at Artemis, an imprint of Ambo|Anthos with solely female authors, and in 2014 joining the Ambo|Anthos team where she is now senior editor. While an avid literary fiction reader, she has a keen interest in that sweet spot between literary and upmarket commercial fiction. She has acquired authors from across the globe in line with the broad spectrum of the A|A list, ranging from literary to (upmarket) commercial women’s fiction, thrillers and memoirs. She is the editor of authors including Elizabeth Day, Pat Barker, André Aciman, Taylor Jenkins Reid, Georgi Gospodinov, Antoine Sénanque, Amanda Peters, Kamel Daoud and Nita Prose.
