About the Editor
Georgie Leighton joined S&S UK in January 2023 to work on the Crime and Thriller fiction list with Katherine Armstrong, after beginning her career in academic publishing at Oxford University Press and Bloomsbury. Her interests range widely, from cosy mysteries and psychological suspense to forensic procedurals and espionage thrillers, but she is particularly drawn to voice-led mysteries, messy or flawed characters, domestic suspense featuring unusual family structures, and high-concept crime and thrillers, especially timeslips, near future dystopias, and meta narratives.
