Commissioning editor at Luitingh-Sijthoff, working on fiction in the categories of women’s fiction, upmarket fiction, historical fiction, romance and book club. I aim to publish books that will leave you with a smile on your face and tears in your eyes. I work on both our Dutch and translated list. 

I graduated in English language and literature and continued with translation studies. After that, I started as an editorial intern at Luitingh-Sijthoff – now 5,5 years ago. I love a good soppy romance as well as those rare books that hit the sweet spot.

Recent acquisitions include The Lost Bookshop by Evie Woods, Before I Let Go by Kennedy Ryan, The Memory Library by Kate Storey and Business or Pleasure by Rachel Lynn Solomon. I work together with colleague Hedda Sanders on our fiction list, which includes recent bestsellers as Hello Beautiful by Ann Napolitano and Go As A River by Shelley Read.
