About the Editor
Adrienne Kerr (she/her) joined Simon & Schuster Canada in 2022. She spent a decade at Penguin Canada, where she acquired and edited commercial fiction, working with bestselling authors Gabrielle Zevin, Gail Honeyman, Fiona Barton, Stuart McLean, and Ishmael Beah. At Simon and Schuster Canada, Adrienne works with Ruth Ware, Genevieve Graham, Lisa Genova, Janet Skeslien Charles, Stephanie Wrobel, C. L. Miller, Hannah Richell, Santa Montefiore, Tom Ryan, and Eliza Reid. Adrienne has worked in publishing for over 25 years and has been a publisher’s sales rep, a book buyer for a national chain, and a bookseller. She was named Editor of the Year in 2011 and Sales Rep of the Year in 2009 by the Canadian Booksellers’ Association. A few of her recent bestsellers include The Secret Keeper by Genevieve Graham, Miss Morgan’s Book Brigade by Janet Skeslien Charles, The Treasure Hunters Club by Tom Ryan, and Proof by Beverley McLachlin. Upcoming books include How to be a First Lady by Eliza Reid, the Canadian-born First Lady of Iceland, Ajuinnata, a memoir by Mary Simon, the first Inuit Governor General of Canada, and an untitled memoir by Sandie Rinaldo, the first Canadian woman to hold a full-time position as a national news anchor.
Adrienne’s areas of interest include upmarket voice-driven fiction, cozy mysteries, police procedurals, historical fiction, gothic novels, and uplifting personal memoir.
