About the Editor
As editorial director at Luitingh-Sijthoff I am responsible for three lists: Crime & Thrillers, Non-fiction and Fantasy. Our crime and thrillers are characterized by a strong, clear concept and the elements plot, character and propulsive writing. For Non-fiction we focus on memoirs, (mental) health, true crime and lifestyle. I have acquired multiple prize winning and #1 best-selling authors like Anya Niewierra, Samuel Bjørk, Ruth Ware, Matthew Perry, Daniel Cole, Viveca Sten, Steve Cavanagh, Julie Smith and many more. Amon the other writers I publish are Dan Brown, Noraly Schoenmaker, Lee Child, Stephen King (backlist), Patricia Cornwell, George Martin, Robert Jordan. I studied Dutch Literature and Comparative Literature at University of Amsterdam and Sorbonne III, Paris.
