Amy Guay is an assistant editor at Avid Reader Press. She is passionate about contemporary literary fiction that unites a strong, singular voice with emotional depth and a wry sense of humor. She is drawn to a use of language that feels fresh, and to projects that explore the relationships that we have with others and ourselves. In her time at Avid, she has provided editorial notes on critically acclaimed titles like Easy Beauty by Chloé Cooper Jones, Human Blues by Elisa Albert, and One Hundred Saturdays by Michael Frank. She grew up in Sarasota, Florida, and graduated with a B.A. in American Studies from Georgetown University.
