Laura Brown is an Executive Editor at Atria where she acquires emotional and thought-provoking commercial and upmarket fiction. She is drawn to stories with distinctive voices, propulsive storytelling, big hooks that entertain and engage with social issues, and narratives that play with genre.
Before joining Atria, Laura was a Senior Editor at Park Row Books, where she published critically acclaimed and bestselling titles including Vera Kurian’s NEVER SAW ME COMING, Kimberly Belle’s DEAR WIFE, Morgan Roger’s HONEY GIRL, Serena Burdick’s THE GIRLS WITH NO NAMES, Olivia Campbell’s WOMEN IN WHITE COATS, and Jillian Cantor’s THE FICTION WRITER.
