About the Editor
Lashanda Anakwah is looking to acquire across genres. On the fiction side, she’s looking for commercial upmarket, literary and subversive fiction with a focus on underrepresented cultures and voices, family sagas and voicey characters. For non-fiction, Lashanda is interested in dynamic essay collections, narratives pertaining to socio-political issues, true crime, and memoirs that highlight geography in some shape or form. Lashanda joined Simon & Schuster in 2017 and is a New York City native.
