Nicole Winstanley (she/her) is the President and Publisher of Simon & Schuster Canada, a global leader in general interest publishing, where she oversees all publishing and operations across Canada. Award-winning and bestselling authors she’s acquired since joining include Mona Awad, Saeed Teebi, Arundhati Roy, Catherine Leroux, Clara Hughes, Liz Nugent, Jessica J. Lee, and Ece Temelkuran. Prior to her appointment, Nicole served as Publisher of Penguin Canada and Vice President of Penguin Random House Canada, where she published a strong list of Canadian books and authors, including Run Towards the Danger by Academy Award-winning screenwriter Sarah Polley, The Strangers by the Atwood Gibson Writers’ Trust Fiction Prize winner katherena vermette, The Maid, the unstoppable international bestseller by Nita Prose, “Good Morning America” pick The Push by Ashley Audrain, and numerous works by international bestselling author Guy Gavriel Kay.
