Maarten Basjes joined Luitingh-Sijthoff in 2009, after a brief stint as a web developer and online designer. (Something he still uses to convince his colleagues he’s tech-savvy.) Maarten acquires fantasy en science fiction when he can, as well as a bit of commercial nonfiction, but mainly focuses on crime/thrillers for the Dutch market.
