Johanna Li began her life in publishing as an intern at Farrar, Straus & Giroux. She is interested in books that explore ideas across genres, that make unexpected connections, and uncover hidden histories, including but not limited to narrative nonfiction; books about the arts, pop culture and cultural history; literary fiction; and biography & memoir. During her time at S&S she’s had the pleasure of working with a wide range of authors, including David Quammen, Robert Putnam, Ilyon Woo, David Maraniss, David Blight, Jeff Guinn, and Judith Viorst.
