About the Editor
Rebecca is drawn to projects that balance bold candor and intimate honesty as they connect readers to new points of view. She is looking for books that spark conversation about things that excite us, or are difficult to talk about, and she is particularly drawn to projects that deal with race, class, gender, and sexuality. She loves to work with writers who can bring a fresh perspective to a beloved topic. Rebecca is acquiring memoir, pop culture (especially music, comedy, and fandom), narrative-heavy food writing. Before joining Gallery Books, she was at Penguin Random House’s Blue Rider Press/Plume imprints, and later, Simon & Schuster’s Touchstone imprint.
Her recent projects include Blood Orange Night by Melissa Bond, New York Times bestseller The Right Call by Sally Jenkins, Eat Plants, B*tch! by Pinky Cole, Edgar–Award Nominee The Woman Beyond the Attic by Andrew Neiderman, New York Times bestseller Sure, I’ll Join Your Cult by Maria Bamford, Fashion Killa by Sowmya Krishnamurthy, national bestseller Troubled by Robert Henderson, and Drunk-ish by Stefanie Wilder-Taylor.
